Reboot, realign, and re-energize at our Fall Yoga Reboot Workshop.
Join Christine DeMita (PLX Yoga instructor on Mondays 7:00 pm) is having a Fall Yoga Reboot Workshop on Sunday, September 29th – from 2-4 pm. She will be doing both Hatha Yoga and Yin Yoga for rebooting our Chakra’s, bodies and minds for fall!
Each hour she will start with some gentle hatha yoga movements and poses combined with breath sequencing to warm up the body. Then – she will continue with a series of Yin Yoga holds – for 1-3 minutes. In Yin Yoga – the movements are gentle and held for up to 3 minutes – which increases circulation in the joints and improves flexibility. At the same time music will be used that is tuned to the chakra’s, or energy systems of the body. Each hour will end using a technique called “tapping” which helps to release stress. Then a shavasana – or guided meditation and relaxation will end each hour.
Cost is $60.00 payable by cash/check to Christine DeMita.
Payment can be made the day of, but a reservation is appreciated in advance as room is limited. Fall Yoga Reboot workshop will be in the gym portion of PLX Fit CLub. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the event. Bring a small blanket, yoga mat, water bottle, and a small snack such as grapes.
